Starting with the 2013-2014 PJAS Competition, Digital PDF Presentations are considered to be the Standard Presentation Media Format, REPLACING overhead transparencies for Region 2 Regional Competition.
Overhead projectors will NOT be available at the Region 2 Regional Competition.
DIGITAL PRESENTATION MEDIA
All additional media types (such as charts, posters or other non-standard media) are considered to be “Specialized” Presentation Media. Specialized Media should be used only when absolutely necessary to establish a point that cannot be made with the Standard Media Format.
PHYSICAL OBJECTS:
- No three-dimensional objects may be used in the presentations
- Two-dimensional representations (charts, pictures, graphs, posters, etc.) may be used, but nothing may be passed to the judges
AUDIO PRESENTATION MATERIALS:
- Students may use Audio Presentation Materials (MP3, CDs, etc.) only when necessary & with prior approval
- The student is responsible for bringing and setting up any equipment needed to present Audio Presentation Materials
- Any Audio Presentation must be audible to all in the presentation room
VISUAL PRESENTATION MATERIALS:
- Students may use “Non-standard” Visual Presentation Media, such as Charts, Pictures, Graphs, Posters, Slides, etc., but nothing may be passed to the judges
- The student is responsible for bringing/setting up equipment needed to present Non-standard Media
- Visual Presentation Materials must be clearly visible to all in the presentation room
